Your Tasks
- Manage accounting and controlling functions for the 2 legal entities in Batam, report disciplinary and functionally to Group CFO and supports the GM in his role.
- Responsible for period-end closing and reporting in accordance with local GAAP rules, government regulations, internal and external compliance. Prepares monthly financial report reviews with Group Finance.
- Coordinate annual statutory audit and other external tax and government audits with auditors. Ensure tax compliance and Transfer price documentation accuracy.
- Identify financial risk and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor cash flow, treasury, tax, and all accounting areas. Set up and enforce local financial and controlling process in line with central guidelines.
- Prepare business plan, quarterly forecast, variance analysis. Identify opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency improvements. Coordinate project calculations, various controlling analysis with Group Controlling.
- Investment budget control, product cost calculations. Act as a business partner for the GM and the operational departments, tracks profit center P&L and KPI. Training and development of the local finance and controlling team members. • Other finance and controlling tasks assigned by the Group CFO.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree, with major in Finance, Auditing, Business Economics or equivalent, 10+ year experience financial /accounting area with SAP experience in a multinational company, preferably in manufacturing industry.
- 5+ years’ experience of team leadership in finance /commercial environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills, problem solving and strategic thinking.
- Good command of verbal and written English, Mandarin speaker preferred.
- Experience in working on international teams and understanding for different foreign cultures, such as Asian and several European cultures.
