Your Tasks

  • New project new parts RFQ.
  • New part CBD Analysis, cost benchmark and cost comparison analysis in new project
  • New part negotiation with suppliers for final cost in new project
  • New part supplier and cost selection align with Commodity manager based on strategy, conduct supplier nomination in new projects
  • Carryover parts price & supplier selection confirm in new project, including capacity and tooling confirm with suppliers
  • Finish the critical part risk assessment, via work with D&D, SQE, and suppliers
  • Coordinate DFMA Activities in new project
  • Coordinate new technical concept and VAVE solution in new project
  • Sample build (including mockup/prototype) order release & schedule follow
  • New project tooling order & payment management

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/mechanical engineering / commercial or other related fields
  • At least 6 years and above experience preferably focused on a manufacturing environment, preferably in home appliance industry
  • Good understanding of TCO and Cost Breakdown Concept, procurement tools and manufacturing processes, esp. experience in Electro-mechanical parts
  • Able to think strategically and work independently, problem solving skill
  • Good and steadfast in negotiation
  • Good written and verbal communication skill both in English and Chinese. Be able to converse and relate to key stakeholders
