Your Tasks

  • Work hand in hand with Sales and KAM and support for new customer business acquisitions
  • Identify and address new business opportunities and define technical baseline
  • Prepare Project quotations which covers TTC (Time plan, Technology, Cost)
  • Provide guidance to the Project Manager in technical matters and get involved or engage in change management if needed (significant or critical changes)
  • Challenge and observe the project teams and demand adherence to PDP process
  • Support and/or prepare customer steering meetings as well as proactive customer management (specially in crisis)
  • Support LCM and after sales service activities and product improvement programs
  • Establish technical baselines and overviews. Develop tools to support the WIK organization with technical knowledge and WIK experience e.g. technical database

Your Profile

  • To take responsibility for the customer accounts from technical point of view, both for new and running businesses as well as for customer acquisition projects, in cooperation with Sales and/or Key Account Manager (KAM)
  • To be able to successfully lead project cost estimation during the RFQ process and prepare project budget, investments, resources, and project timeline together with assigned departments for followed by a Project kick-off in the event of successful business acquisition
  • To be able to clarify and establish feasible requirements/specifications for new products
  • To be able to provide guidance to Purchasing in technical matters to enable the Purchasing to secure correct cost and quality expectation from supply base
  • To be able to provide guidance on industrial processes on selected technologies and aligning these with WIK D&D and/or third party
  • To be capable to prepare and align the customer offers and ensure clear project roll out with well-defined Project Charter
  • To act as communication window towards the customer and handle escalations during the entire project e.g., significant specification changes, undefined/new requirements, or delayed deliverables
  • To act as core contact for critical technical project management matters related to managing technical issues and its implications on timeline, cost, and budgets
