PT FREE THE SEA is a sustainable plastic waste management company with a bold mission: to free the sea from plastic pollution.
We believe the only way to save the ocean is by building the "boring" solutions that no one else does – solutions that create real, lasting impact. We connect households to proper waste infrastructure where systems don't exist, collecting plastic waste directly from homes or through local Material Hubs. Every piece of plastic collected is recycled or responsibly managed, ensuring it never reaches the ocean.
Our Plastic Keepers are the heart of this movement – local heroes on the ground who transform communities and livelihoods through proper waste management.
PT FREE THE SEA is part of the same group as WIK Far East Batam, giving us strong industrial and operational excellence in plastic recycling.
