Your Tasks

  • Establish, validate and maintain standard time, cycle time and standard minute value (SMV) for the assigned production areas, including the periodic review of the labour standard data, and ensure its accuracy for costing and capacity planning.
  • Perform line balancing, capacity studies and manpower planning for existing lines and new projects and determine the optimum operator allocation and line configuration to meet output, UPH and efficiency targets. Design new process related concepts like ideal factory line layout, workstations, flow chart, Work instruction, PFMEA, jig list, line cycle time, etc.
  • Analyze manufacturing data (cycle time, productivity, yield, OEE, FTQ, labor) to drive process optimization, standard time accuracy, capacity planning, and continuous improvement through data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare documents of Work Instruction, Flow Chart, PFMEA, PFC, including rework process and rework WI. Provide the Factory with the systematic examination and improvement proposals.
  • Lead root cause analysis and structured problem solving for process and productivity issues (PDCA, 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, basic statistics), and ensures that corrective actions are implemented and sustained and manage process improvement projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality, R&D, and maintenance to align process improvements with company objectives. Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot process issues, resolve operational problems, and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain detailed records of process changes, improvements, project status and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, with minimum 3 years of experience in the same position.
  • Proficient in process simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and industry-specific tools (e.g. Auto CAD, 3D software, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), lines stabilization and standardization, Kaizen, Poka Yoke, SMED, JIT). Prepare documents for Production line such as Flow Chart, PFMEA and Work Instruction.
  • Strong to drive manufacturing process optimization by improving line layout, workflow, cycle time, manpower, and standard methods to increase efficiency, quality, throughput, and cost performance while supporting new product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Fluent in English, skill for Microsoft office. Ability to perform under high pressure, result oriented and good trouble shooting capability. Good attitude, adaptability to company culture, teamwork spirit and influence skills, problem solving skills, able to handle multi-task and seek continuous improvement, active listening, presentation skills.
