Your Tasks

  • Manage RFQs with AVL suppliers and ensure timely, comparable quotations.
  • Perform CBD reviews, cost benchmarks, and cost comparison analyses to validate quotation competitiveness.
  • Lead supplier cost negotiations and secure final cost agreements aligned with project targets.
  • Align new-part supplier and cost selection with Commodity Management strategy and drive final nomination decisions.
  • Confirm carryover-part price and supplier selection, including supplier capacity, tooling availability, and commercial readiness.
  • Complete critical-part risk assessments in coordination with R&D, SQE, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate DFM activities and evaluate new technical concepts with R&D and suppliers.
  • Drive VAVE activities and deliver PPV targets for mass production.
  • Release sample-build orders (mock-up/prototype) and monitor supplier schedules until completion.
  • Manage tooling orders and payment follow-up in line with project and commercial requirements.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, business/commercial management, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the home-appliance industry, with sound knowledge of metal parts’ manufacturing processes, test requirements, and certification requirements.
  • Strong understanding of TCO, cost-breakdown methodology, and should-cost analysis; able to perform comprehensive cost comparisons, identify quotation gaps, and justify reasonable target prices.
  • Strategic mindset, independent working style, structured problem-solving capability, and strong ownership of results.
  • Strong command of procurement tools and processes, supplier negotiation, DFM review, supplier risk assessment, and supplier nomination preparation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders and suppliers.
