Your Tasks
- Drive continuous improvement in line efficiency, labor productivity, UPH, cycle time, OEE, utilization, and manufacturing cost.
- Lead capacity analysis based on demand, cycle time, UPH, manpower, equipment, working hours, and production efficiency and manpower requirement analysis based on production volume, standard time, line balance, efficiency, and operating hours.
- NPI & project support, lead industrial engineering activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) from product transfer, line setup, and production ramp-up activities. Lead PFMEA and process improvement activities to ensure manufacturability and productivity.
- Line balancing & process optimization, review production layouts and recommend improvements to optimize material flow, manpower movement, WIP, and space utilization.
- Data analysis & performance management, lead data-driven IE analysis and reporting for manufacturing performance.
- Leadership & development, to coach, and develop industrial engineers to strengthen technical capability, product knowledge, RCA, analytical skills, and project management capability. Establish and monitor industrial engineering KPIs and cross functional & project management.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, with minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering, including minimum 3 years of experience in supervisory, team leadership, or project leadership role, with demonstrated responsibility for people and/or technical project management.
- Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles to optimize people, processes, materials, equipment, and workplace resources to achieve maximum productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Technical or engineering design skills, proficient in process simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and industry-specific tools (e.g. Auto CAD, 3D software) and strong knowledge of work measurement & time study, line balancing, cycle time, takt time, standard time, UPH, OEE, production layout & material flow, value stream mapping (VSM), lines stabilization and standardization, Kaizen, Poka Yoke, SMED, JIT.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, ownership, accountability, and ability to develop team members, motivate and influence team members toward common business objectives.
- Analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to convert complex data into actionable solutions. Able to make sound technical and business decisions under pressure and good in communication & influence.
- Fluent in English, solid skill for Microsoft office and good attitude, adaptability to company culture, teamwork spirit and influence skills, problem solving skills, able to handle multi-task and seek lean and continuous improvement, active listening, presentation skills.
