Your Tasks
- Purchasing scope for defined indirect related procurement activities including but not limited equipment, non-standard automation, new project prototype, consumable, jig and fixture, renovation, tools, non-standard spare parts, chemical, services etc.
- Contribution to results, responsibility (governance) for all indirect procurement activities and related processes globally for the commodity in conjunction with WIK-group biz and their respective regulations with the target to maximize the contribution to operating profit from materials.
- Strategic supplier management, drive and execute supplier management activities for the supplier portfolio (focusing on Recommended Suppliers and Strategic Partners).
- Commodity strategy and target setting, understand procurement market and supplier landscape, including mid- and long-term trends for the commodity, respecting current guidelines, to achieve the maximum profit contribution to the corporate targets.
- Planning, forecasting, reporting and controlling, coordinating planning, optimization and controlling of material contribution within respective material field to EBIT with WIK-group according to company guidelines.
- Sourcing risk and contract management, implement a second source strategy where necessary, negotiation, conduct price and contract negotiations with contract conclusion on short-, mid- and long-term horizon in coordination with legal respect to the Business Conduct Guidelines.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, minimum 3 years of experience in the same position.
- Familiar with formulation of commodity strategy, supplier relationship management, market investigation and cost analysis/control and risk mitigation.
- Good ability to work under pressure, excellent communication and understanding skill and effective execution, solid skill for MS-Office (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, word), ERP practice, and good knowledge of office suite.
- Good understanding of cost breakdown concept, procurement tools and processes, excellent problem-solving skill.
- Result oriented person with a strong delivery focus who can work independently and collaboratively with regional and global teams.
- Excellent English skills both on reading, writing and spoken. Mandarin preferred as 3rd language.
